Preparing Your Luxor Keyboards Creator Series
Before we dive into the customization process, let’s ensure that your Luxor Keyboards Creator Series is ready.
Connect Your Keyboard
Cable Connection: A wired connection is crucial for stable customization. Connect your keyboard to your computer using a Type-C cable. This ensures a reliable connection for the software to recognize and interact with your keyboard.
Download the VIA JSON File below.
Download the File: Locate and download the “creatorseries.json” file. This file is essential for customizing your keyboard using the VIA software.
Uploading the JSON File and Authorizing Your Keyboard in VIA
Now that you have everything prepared, let’s get your keyboard connected to the VIA software:
Head to VIA Website:
Open your web browser and navigate to the official VIA website: https://usevia.app/
Enable Design Tab:

  • Click on the “Settings” icon (gear symbol) within VIA.
  • Locate the option “Show Design Tab” and enable it.


Load the Keyboard Layout

  • Click on the “Design Tab”
  • Locate the “LOAD” button and click it.
  • Select the downloaded “creatorseries.json” file to upload your keyboard’s layout definition.


Authorize Your Keyboard:

  • Switch to the “Configure” tab within VIA.
  • Click the “Authorize Device” button. This will initiate a connection between VIA and your  Creator Series keyboard.
